Plastic Material and Characteristics

The plastic doorbell cover adopts PC bottom cover, PC is a material with high impact resistance, 50 times that of other transparent resins and 200 times that of glass, providing strong and stable protection for your doorbell. The sealing ring is the key part that determines the sealing of the doorbell cover. The high and low temperature resistance (-60 ℃ to +250 ℃ ) and weather resistance of LSR are definitely the only choice to protect the doorbell in harsh outdoor environments

Design Features

This plastic doorbell cover adopts an integrated design, with the PC cover and LSR sealing ring molded in one piece, which enhances the adhesion of the sealing part, ensures that no dust, water or other contaminants enter the doorbell, and eliminates the common shedding problem of traditional adhesive seals.

Manufacturing Process

Overmolding injection molding is the key to the strong performance of the plastic doorbell cover. In this process, LSR material is injected into a mold containing PC material. Thanks to the 4-cavity mold, one machine can directly produce multiple parts, reducing the number of machines and assembly line stations required, which is very time-saving and cost-effective compared to the traditional process that requires parts to be molded separately and assembled later.
