The refrigerator defroster on the market can be roughly divided into two categories: physical defroster and chemical defroster.

Physical defrosters usually use heating methods such as electric wires or infrared rays to melt the frost layer by raising its temperature. The chemical defroster uses some chemicals to react with the frost layer, so as to achieve the purpose of defrosting.

Defrosting procedures usually last from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the condition of the refrigerator and the sensitivity of the defrosting sensor and timer, so connector in the timer is very important.
