The setting of tolerances needs to meet the following requirements:
1. Meet the manufacturing capacity of the product. If the manufacturing capacity of the product does not meet the requirements of the tolerance setting, it is meaningless to set the tolerance higher;
2. Through tolerance analysis, the set tolerance should meet the requirements of product assembly, function, appearance and quality;
3. Tolerance is related to the cost of the product. The stricter the tolerance, the greater the product cost. On the premise of meeting the above requirements, the looser the tolerance, the better;
4. Reasonable design of product features can set tolerances with looser requirements, thereby reducing product costs.
Tolerance standards is incl. DIN 16742, ISD2768 and other standards.
