1 - Mould installation
1.1 Before installing the mold, use oilstone and rags to clean the movable side and fixed side clamps of the molding machine, and clean the fixed side and movable side fixing plates of the mold to remove oil stains and foreign matter so that the mold installation can proceed smoothly.
1.2 Open the clamping plate of the molding machine. Use a gantry crane to lift the mold into the gap between the clamps of the molding machine according to the mold installation direction, and slowly close the clamps. (Note: 1. Make sure that the position of the ejector rod of the molding machine corresponds to the mold. 2. Make sure that the ejector rod of the molding machine emerges from the surface of the movable side clamp.)
1.3 Regardless of whether the mold has a positioning ring, it is necessary to confirm whether the nozzle of the injection platform and the nozzle of the mold are well matched and whether the mold is parallel. Only after it is confirmed, the mold can be fixed and the mold can be tightly fixed on the clamping plate of the forming machine with the pressure plate screws. The screws should be screwed diagonally to balance the force on the mold. Then remove the mold lifting tool.
1.4 When using the automatic mold thickness adjustment program to adjust the mold thickness , it is best to set the mold position to 0. After the adjustment is completed, gradually increase the position until the mold just starts high-pressure clamping. The position at this time is the best position for mold protection, and its value is entered into the mold protection position.
1.5 Connect the auxiliary equipment (mold temperature controller, oil temperature controller, temperature control box, etc.) for heating or cooling the mold and make it operate normally.
2 - Cleaning the mold and hopper.
2.1 Clean the mold surface and sliding parts, add lubricating oil to the guide pillars and sliding parts, and confirm whether the mold ejection, opening and closing are normal. If there is any abnormality, please contact the mold department for processing.
2.2 - Clean the lower hopper to make sure there are no foreign materials. Use special cleaning materials to clean the screw and barrel. Reasonably set the barrel temperature, refer to the material property table. (It is forbidden to inject low-temperature materials at high temperatures, which will cause decomposition; it is forbidden to inject high-temperature materials at low temperatures, which will damage the screw.)
