What preparation should do before mold trial?

There are 5 steps:

1. The mold trial technician should clearly define the purpose of the mold trial and make a confirmation before the mold trial based on the purpose. First, select the appropriate mold trial machine based on the mold size, product size and number, forming method, material properties, etc.

2.​​  The materials used for mold change ( mold trial ) must be consistent with the materials required on the product drawings provided by the customer. The materials must be fully dried before mold change ( mold trial ) . The drying time and temperature can be set by referring to the material property table provided by the material supplier .

3. Confirmation and preparation of measuring instruments .

4. Confirmation of mold related items (ejection , mold opening and closing, heating method, product removal method, whether auxiliary equipment is needed, and whether the component mold number is required for multi-cavity mold extraction.) If hardware insertion is required for forming, please prepare in advance .

5. If necessary, the mold processor and designer can be invited to participate in the mold trial .
